NOTE: Restoration videos below will show a few different Hilux Pickup Trucks we have restored. The 1985 Hilux truck pictured below is the one featured in this auction. The restoration process was the same on all the Hilux trucks we have restored.
This legendary truck spent all its life in Georgia, where it was well-preserved and escaped the harsh winters of the northern states that often damage these classic vehicles. We then had it transported to Texas. This truck is in pristine condition, having never been involved in a car accident, as verified by a Carfax report. It has undergone a comprehensive restoration, including minor bodywork, a full color change, a frame-off paint job, and a complete interior re-design.
Under the hood, you’ll discover a robust 2.4-liter 22R inline-four engine, paired with a reliable five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. This classic drivetrain is highly sought after by enthusiasts for its legendary durability and impressive off-road performance. Notably, 1985 was the final year this iconic Hilux was equipped with a durable front solid axle, a feature that adds to its desirability.
This truck was built along few others for our “McFly Giveaways”. Unfortunately, the car/truck giveaway scene has become flooded and we are simply not getting the response we are looking for.
