The wiring harness provided by the stereo manufacturer will need to be stripped to allow you to connect your head unit harness to your vehicle specific harness. If you purchased the dash kit from our website, we have included the wire stripper/crimper that you will need to strip the wires. As you can see in this picture, simply strip away about 1/2 inch of the protective covering.
