If you are planning to install 6.5″ or 6.75″ speakers in the front door of your Toyota Tundra these mounts will make it quick and easy. These are the best mounts you can buy for your Toyota Tundra. These mounts are CNC milled from a solid piece of plastic for an ultra heavy duty product that will not vibrate at high volume. 2022+ Toyota Tundra Complete Audio System Upgrade Install Steps
The speaker adapters for your Toyota Tundra are 1″ thick and provide a maximum top mount depth of 2.95″. The default cutout diameter of 5.1″ will work with roughly 90% of all 6.5 inch speaker installations.
So, what the heck is cutout diameter?
The cutout diameter is the size of the hole in the speaker mount. The majority of lower to middle end 6.5″ speakers require a 5.1″ mounting hole. Higher end and component speakers usually require a larger cutout diameter due to a larger basket. Most speaker manufactures will provide the cutout diameter and mounting depth.
The speaker adapters are 1” thick and support a top mount depth of 2.95 inches. Please be sure to review the videos to make sure you are ordering the correct size.

Speaker Wire Harness Kit
If you plan to use the stock wiring to power your speakers (using the stereo to power the speakers), you will probably want to purchase the speaker wire harness adapter kit. This kit will allow you to plug into the factory wiring without cutting or splicing. This will make it much easier to return your Toyota Tundra to stock (factory) condition if you ever trade it in or sell it.
If you plan to install an amplifier, you will run heavier gauge speaker wire to your speakers and will NOT need wire harnesses.
Longer Bolt Kit
The heavy-duty mounts are thicker than the factory speakers. You will need longer bolts to attach the mounts to your Toyota Tundra. These 10mm metric bolts / screws are not available in local hardware stores. Some customers have purchased larger screws at their local hardware store and were able to make them work. You might be able to save a few dollars if you can find a similar size that is not metric. The screws needed to mount your new aftermarket speakers to the speaker adapters will be included in the bolt kit. If you are not going to purchase the bolt kit, be sure you are not using screws that are too big.
What speakers will fit?
This kit will work with 85% of all 6.5 & 6.75 inch speakers. The front door speaker mounts are 1” thick and support a top mount depth of 2.95 inches. Please be sure to review the videos to make sure you are ordering the correct size.
