Description
2007-2021 JBL Equipped Tundra PNP Direct Integration System Amplifier Interface Adapter:
This is the same harness we use with our plug and play amplifier system. The harnesses connect directly to your stock input / output wires in your Toyota Tundra.
THIS HARNESS IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH JBL TUNDRAS
Features:
- Heavy 16 gauge speaker wire.
- 24″ leads
- Industry Standard 12V Color Coded input / output Molex connectors (for plug and play system)
- Easily modified to work with other amplifiers.
- Blue Remote Turn On Wire
- Constant 12V if a relay is required for your amp(s) or use with sound processor
NOTE: This harness system was manufactured to work with tacotunes.com plug and play amplifiers. You can cut off the blue/black Molex plugs and connect them to a number of different brand amplifiers. However, due to the large number of amp brands / models we cannot help with the installation process. To make the installation easier, we have listed the color/purpose of each wire in the harness system.
IMPORTANT: The factory wiring was not designed to handle a lot of power. We do not recommend more than 80 watts (RMS) on your stock wiring. Most amps are rated at 14.4 volts for their ratings. Toyota charging system is only 13.6. So you can use an amp rated at 100 watts RMS. Not all amps are equipped to handle high level inputs. So your amp might require a sound processor or line converter or sound processor.
WE DO NOT OFFER SUPPORT FOR THIS ITEM IF YOU ARE USING IT WITH AMP(S) THAT WERE PURCHASED ELSEWHERE. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE HOW TO INSTALL WITH YOUR OWN AMP(S) CONSULT WITH A PROFESSIONAL!
