Upgrade your 4runner Audio System in hours, not days, with this plug-and-play amplifier factory integration harness! Ditch messy wiring and complicated installs. Save time and frustration by avoiding the need to run new speaker wire to the doors & dash.
This harness plugs directly into your factory head unit and existing wiring, letting you add an amplifier(s) without cutting or splicing a single factory wire. Completely reversible installation!

Amp / Sound Processor HARNESS 1/2:
-17 Foot leads. (17 x 16 = 272 Feet Total Wiring Included)
-16 gauge (thicker than 18G) speaker wire to handle the additional power – (Harness 1 Connect to your AMP Speaker OUTPUT)
-18 gauge signal wire (Harness 2 Connect to your LOC / DSP)
-Industry Standard 12V Color Coded input / output Molex connectors (for plug and play system)
-Easily modified to work with just about any aftermarket amplifier.
NOTE: This harness system was manufactured to work with tacotunes.com plug and play amplifiers. You can cut off the blue/black Molex plugs and connect them to a number of different brand amplifiers. However, due to the large number of amp brands / models we cannot help with the installation process. To make the installation easier, we have listed the color/purpose of each wire in the harness system.
DOES NOT SUPPORT FACTORY INSTALLED JBL AUDIO SYSTEMS!
IMPORTANT: The factory wiring was not designed to handle a lot of power. We do not recommend more than 100 watts (RMS) on your stock wiring. Most amps are rated at 14.4 volts for their ratings. Toyota charging system is only 13.6. So you can use an amp rated at 100 watts RMS. We HIGHLY suggest the use of a quality LOC/DSP/Sound Processor.
Remote Turn On / 12V Constant Wires (Harness 3)
This harness is setup to provide a 12V constant power to your LOC/Sound Processor. It also includes Accessory Wire that will turn your aftermarket audio gear on / off.
RED = Accessory Remote Turn On/Turn Off
YELLOW = 12V Constant. This is used to power your LOC/DSP/SOUND PROCESSOR. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO POWER YOUR AMP / POWERED SUB WITH THIS WIRE.
NOTE: ALL amps / powered subwoofers will require fused power coming directly from your car battery. A relay MIGHT be required when using 2 or more amplifiers.

HARNESS 1 BLACK PLUGS (Output to speakers):
These black Molex Plugs connect directly to our TXD line of amplifiers OR can you can remove then and integrate just about any aftermarket amplifier.
Left Front Speaker: White (+) White/Black (-)
Right Front Speaker: Gray (+), Gray/Black (-)
Left Rear Speaker: Green (+), Green/Black (-)
Right Front Speaker: Purple (+), Purple/Black (-)
HARNESS 2 BLUE PLUGS / END CUT (Input from stock stereo):
Left Front Speaker: White (+) White/Black (-)
Right Front Speaker: Gray (+), Gray/Black (-)
Left Rear Speaker: Green (+), Green/Black (-)
Right Front Speaker: Purple (+), Purple/Black (-)
HARNESS 3:
Red Wire – Remote Turn on wire
Yellow Wire – Constant 12v (Do not use to power amps! this is for sound processors ONLY)

This harness will provide 4 output channels (FL, RF, RL, RR) from my stock head unit. I understand that I will need to supply an LOC/DSP/Sound Processor that will properly output the desired 4, 5, or 6 channel low-level output that is required to provide the signal for my amplifiers.
I understand that not all LOC/DSP/Sound Processors may not work properly with my stock head unit (Radio).
I understand this product is NON REFUNDABLE if the product packaging is “opened”. NO EXCEPTIONS.
I understand that support for this product is limited to ensuring signal delivery to your LOC/DSP/Sound Processor. We are unable to provide support for LOC/DSP/Sound Processors/Amplifiers purchased from other vendors.
NOTE: We suggest using NTUNE6 or a similar product designed to work with your Toyota Stock Stereo. Keep in mind lower end LOC units often cause “Newer Model” head unit errors and/or head unit “shutdown” issues.
